With trading being such an exciting industry, it can be hard for some to “keep cool calm and collected.” Over the years I’ve found that the best way to make sure you’re following all proper steps and staying “cool calm and collected” is to always have a checklist of rules and parameters to refer back to before entering any trade. This way, you can assure that you’re following your strategies as closely as possible and can overcome the issues of not knowing what to trade, over trading, trading paralysis, emotional trading, getting too greedy or fearful in a trade, not sticking to your plan, and many other mistakes that most make when first getting started.
It’s easy to get caught up in the moment, especially when things are moving so fast. Referring back to this checklist prior to placing your trades can help you better your trading in the long run and can be beneficial to even the more experienced traders as well. (Because even after 10 years of trading I still use it myself)
